• Al Khaldi: We fairmly deal with the phenomenons of covering up and commercial fraud

             The Director General of the Ministry of trade and investment in the Eastern Region Branch Abdulaziz Al Khaldi, said that the ministry is dealing firmly with cases of covering up and commercial fraud and spots the markets and shops, and organizes organization campaigns in a complementary way with the ministry branches in the Kingdom, pointing that the difficulty lies in the detection of these cases, as the branch of the ministry receives more than 3,000 case per month, among business cases of fraud or covering up and are dealt with according to the laws and regulations
    Khaldi stressed in an interview recently with the trade committee of Asharqia Chamber on the ministry accuracy in the application of the violations and punishments, as they are not issuing the violation of the shop only after verification of the complaint, and under the supervision of the branch management, to avoid any grievance and to avoid any malicious reports, on the contrary, many of reports came through the reporting center and clear violations are approved.
    He pointed that most of the ministry services are provided automatically, and businessmen ought to take advantage of them, without the need for a go to branches and offices. He explained that the ministry, represented by the branch is keen to find all the services needed by traders in their daily activity.
    Khaldi added that electronic services via the ministry website that allows data updates and modify records and also cancellations, but in some cases the person in charged should attend, especially with regard to some of the other government agencies procedures .. stressing the desire of the branch to communicate with all the relevant authorities such as the department of customs, ports and municipalities to make it easier for traders and solving everyday problems.
    Regarding the e-commerce and the need for laws to arrange the delivery dates and sending, it is reported that the ministry has spotted many e-sales channels, following up to spot the rest, and punishing  violators of the regulations, and applying the necessary punishments till  the limit of closing the website or account of the site.
    As for the letters of support for the Ministry of Labor, Khaldi said that the ministry  used to transfer these letters to the industrial sectors, after the separation of the industry from trade ministry stopped this, for lack of specialty, and businessmen can go to related agencies  to ask for letters of support according to the areas of the shops and its facilities and the general conditions of projects If the systems they have allow that.
